Class Ambassador '25, Dept. of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR)                                                                    August 2022 – Present

As the Class Ambassador of the class of 2025, I help with supporting and diversifying student programming efforts and hold office hours for spreading awareness about the umpteen resources Grinnell has to offers its students. I host events aimed at boosting affinity among students of the class of 2025 and creating more access points between DAR and the student body. As a Class Ambassador, I'm the co-sponsor of the Second Grinnell Year program along with the Department of Academic Advising; second year, being the transition year from Intro courses to the intermediate classes and seminars, is difficult for a lot of students. The Second Grinnell Year program helps these students to analyze the problems they're facing by working with the Academic Advisors and come up with a solution to handle their academic and social problems.  

Vice President, South Asian Student Organization (SASO)                                                                                                        May 2023 – Present

With almost 20% of the student body identifying themselves as international students, Grinnell College has Multicultural Leadership Councils (MLC's) for representing students from different regions of the world with diverse cultures. I was elected to be the Vice President of the South Asian Student Organization (a MLC) in Spring 2023. I had served as the treasurer of SASO from May 2022. As the treasurer, I increased the number of events SASO host's by almost 35%, with a nominal change in the organization's budget of $10,000. This was done by collaborating with other MLC's for hosting some common events, finding cheaper alternatives for the equipments required, and involving Student Government Association (SGA) for arranging some equipments. Having prior experiences in hosting events, I worked with the event coordinators for planning the events and hosting them as well. As the Vice President of SASO, I have been working with my cabinet members to scale up the events further and bring about a structural change in the way SGA works with all the MLC's to ensure a smoother funding requests and communications. 

Vivero Scholar, Dept. of Digital Studies                                                                                                                                           May 2023 – Present

As a Vivero Digital Fellow at Grinnell College, I am actively engaged in a community that champions digital literacy within the liberal arts framework. Our program is uniquely positioned at the intersection of social justice, diversity, and academic excellence. We collaborate on a variety of digital projects, encompassing research across all disciplines, guided by the expertise of faculty and staff. In addition to project collaboration, we provide peer mentoring to support courses that incorporate digital analysis and presentation methods. This support can span the entire semester or be tailored to specific assignments. Furthermore, we offer drop-in office hours, serving as a vital resource for students pursuing digital projects in their curricular or co-curricular activities.

Core Committee Member, TEDx Grinnell College                                                                                                            November 2022 – Present

I am a member of the TEDx Grinnell College core committee for 2022-23 academic year. In the committee, I'm the co-chair of the Media and Publicity subcommittee and member of the Speaker and Events subcommittees. Designed the logo for TEDx 2023 and made the posters for the events; currently designing the SWAG and website. In the speaker subcommittee, I serve as the liaison between the speaker and the committee members, while also being in charge of hosting the speaker. In the events subcommittee, I am in-charge of the food and catering during the event and ensuring that the accessibility needs of the students are met.

Weekend Coordinator, Dept. of Student Affairs                                                                                                                       August 2022 – Present

Weekend Coordinators are like the Student Activity Board of Grinnell College. In my freshman year, I was appointed as a Student Programming Coordinator, where I planned, coordinated, and executed the administration of programming operations. Seeing my performance, I was selected to be one of the six Weekend Coordinators at the start of my sophomore year. We host all-campus events every weekend of the academic year, to promote inter and intra-class interactions, while also supporting programming initiatives by other students. These events serve as a study break for the students and fosters a more vibrant community. I represented Grinnell College in the NACA Conference at Fort Wayne in Fall 2022.
